How it's actually built
Fundamentals, weighted transparently
Recent form, starting pitcher trend, bullpen workload, platoon edges, park factors, and game-time weather all feed one documented scoring formula per sport — not a prompt to a language model.
Technical indicators borrowed from trading
EWMA, momentum, an RSI-style hot/cold oscillator, and Bollinger-band volatility — the same primitives quants run on price series — applied to each team's scoring trend.
Graded in the open
Every pick is checked against the real final score. Win or lose, it's on the public record — see for yourself on /accuracy.
Retuned from real results, never auto-changed
A backtester periodically proposes weight changes based on what actually correlated with wins. A human reviews and activates every change — nothing updates itself silently.
